Week 9

Wow! I am halfway through my program! There is little time left to see all I want to see! I have come a long way since week 1! I have learned so much and enjoying and savoring every minute! I recently went to Pere Lachaise Cemetery and saw Abelard and Heloise's grave and their home not to far from Notre-Dame! I had tears and so much emotion in my eyes after studying this couple! Their story is an amazing tale of love, anguish, despair and duty in 12th century Paris! They were so much in love but Abelard was torn between his love for Heloise and his duty to God. The Letters of Abelard and Heloise is an amazing read!
